Chesed Dog and Cat Rescue is run by volunteers and without them, it would be almost impossible to function. Volunteering is a great way to help out your community and help the homeless dog and cats in South Florida and around the U.S.

We would like to thank our volunteers for all their hard work and effort they put in to the care of our animals. All volunteers must fill out proper paperwork, attend an interview/training, be at least 16 years of age (unless accompanied by an adult), have a strong passion for the welfare of animals, and be able to provide own transportation.

Below is a list of volunteer opportunities; we do not have a shelter so most of our volunteers are foster families. However if you are not able to foster and are interested in volunteering, please call, as we may have something for you to do.
