Bernie is a friendly two year old 55 lb. mixed breed. Bernie's former owner did not come home from Iraq. He lost his special person. A neighbor has cared for him for a long time, and could not do it any longer. He is doing well in a foster home with other dogs. He is housetrained and sweet to everyone. He craves a family to love. He is happiest sitting at your feet, content to be with a person that cares for him. He is fine with other dogs but no other small furry pets.
